Join the San Diego May 1st Coalition in responding to the call for a mass demonstration in Phoenix Arizona on July 29th - the day the racial profiling law SB 1070 goes on the books.
Federal injunction or no, we need to deliver a mass rejection of this law in the streets!
A FREE, (love donations encouraged), 47 passenger bus will be leaving from Chicano Park on Wednesday, July 28th at around 9:00 PM. Folks are encouraged to sleep on the bus. It will take people to the demonstration, and will return the next night, late on July 29th. A Special thanks goes to the San Diego-Imperial Counties Central Labor Council for providing transportation.
Remember, we're boycotting Arizona, so bring as much of your own food and water supplies as possible, so we don't have to buy much while we're there. It will be hot, so bring a hat, plenty of liquids, and sun screen.
