In June, nearly 30,000 activists gathered in Detroit to take an important step forward in building a powerful multi-racial, multi-sectoral, and internationalist movement to confront the devastating economic and ecological crises. Uniting under the banner “Another World is Possible; Another U. S. is Necessary,” the Social Forum created a space for organizers to learn ?from each other’s experiences and struggles, share analysis of the problems ?affecting different communities, build relationships, and align with international ?organizers to forge global resistance.

Join us for a report back and collective discussion with San Diego activists who attended, including members of Activist San Diego, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, the Environmental Health Coalition, the American Friends Service Committee, and the Ant Hill Collective.
