Saturday, March 20, 1PM: 7th ANNIV. OF WAR ! March 20 Car Carvan and candlelight vigil
The SD Veterans For Peace, in Conjunction with The SD Coalition for Peace and Justice will hold a combined event culminating in a candlelight vigil along the embarcadero.
1-3 pm, gather for car decoration and music (Al Howard and others) Old Navy Hospital Parking Lot, Balboa Park. 3-5pm - Car caravan through central San Diego. 5-6pm - Bannering - Broadway and Harbor Drive, downtown. 6-7pm - Candlelight vigil with Vets for Peace at Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum on Harbor Drive.

Activist San Diego's Monthly General Meeting.
The United States Social Forum (USSF II) will take place June 22-26, 2010 in economically ravaged downtown Detroit and will convene 20,000 activists from social movements from across the US and globally.

Trent Lange, currently serves as Chair of Californians for Fair Elections, the ballot committee that is leading the campaign for the California Fair Elections Act on the June 2010 ballot, and Simon Mayeski, who is also on the board of California Common Cause.

Rally at Nobel Dr. near I-5 entrance. Join us. We have about 30 signs. You can bring your own also. Support Single Payer AND Demand the Best Public Option." (some may not agree with this, but others have recommended. You decide). Keep the pressure on for SINGLE PAYER -- or, grudgingly, for the BEST PUBLIC OPTION - write, call, FAX, email.
In the process we will be educating and building our network for the California SINGLE PAYER initiative work moving forward. Maybe weekly rallies will form up in other intersections.
